Oktoberfest @ 305

A Sunday of Good Food, Local Finds and Live Music.305 Brings Oktoberfest to Amanzimtoti

Posted on Thu October 29, 2026.

On Sunday, 25 October 2026, 305 Hotel in Amanzimtoti welcomed visitors for a relaxed day of German-inspired food, beer, local shopping and live entertainment at its Oktoberfest celebration.

The event brought together a variety of market vendors, giving visitors the opportunity to browse local products, handmade finds, jewellery and fashion while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere.

German-inspired food and plenty of beer
Food was a big part of the day, with a menu inspired by traditional German favourites. From crispy chicken schnitzel and German-style sausage rolls to pretzels and potato salad, there was plenty to explore for those keen to try something different.

Beer tasting stations and lager on tap added to the Oktoberfest atmosphere, giving guests the chance to enjoy a cold drink alongside the food.

Entertainment for the whole family
Music kept the atmosphere going throughout the day, with DJ Mikilus and local band Rewind bringing their own energy to the event. Younger visitors had entertainment of their own, making it a family-friendly outing for those who came along with the children.

The combination of food, music, market stalls and children's activities gave guests the freedom to take their time, browse at their own pace and enjoy a Sunday out on the Sapphire Coast.

Supporting local businesses
Our market vendors were an important part of the event, bringing a range of products and personality to the day. Events like these offer an opportunity to discover local businesses, meet the people behind the products and support the small businesses that contribute to our community.

We would like to thank all the vendors, entertainers and visitors who joined us and helped bring Oktoberfest at 305 to life.

Until the next gathering ...
Oktoberfest was a welcome opportunity to bring people together at 305 Hotel for a Sunday of good food, music and local shopping. We appreciate everyone who spent part of their weekend with us and look forward to welcoming you to future events.
